Like being in the future

I watched this video at Copenhagenize and it made me wonder if Ottawa would ever be anywhere close to actually changing their attitude when it comes to cycling? Being a bike commuter I am get very tired of counting my nine lives every time I am trying to share the road with cars, or have cars veer into the designated bike lane.

Drip. . .

I came about this via The Die line . I myself am a maple syrup snob and will use nothing but the real thing on my pancakes, but I am not sure how I feel about turning a Canadian tradition enjoyed by everyone from lumberjacks to the Governor General into a luxury item. The brand "Drip" as well as the medical issue bottle it comes in reminds me more of a nasal drip than maple syrup.
